Short definitions of the licensing terms we use across our guides and pricing.
- Licensure by endorsement
Endorsement means applying to a new state's board based on a license you already hold.
- Compact privilege
A privilege lets you practice in a member state under that state's rules, tied to your home state license.
- Submission
Submission is when we file a complete application with the board.
- Issuance
Issuance is when the board grants the license. Board processing time is outside our control.
